You Better Run.

The 30 day yoga challenge is winding down.  Friday will be my last day, and I am excited to receive my spoils.  But I also need to come up with a game plan.  I think that I need to buy a real pair of running shoes; as much as I want something shiny, I need proper shoes.  I have a pair of very dorky vegan NBs and I want something bad ass (and vegan) to run in.  I will also drink a green smoothie and have a salad everyday.  And more water.  And more sleep. 

And I need to find the perfect navy eyeliner/shadow and navy mascara. 

Day 23

Today is Day 23 of my yoga challenge.  I finally cought up the 2 days I missed yesterday, and I am plowing forward. 

I am learning alot. 

I learned that I need ALOT of exercise, more than I expected to get me back into shape.  I can see now that 3 or 4 times a week of working out will never suffice.  It needs to be a daily occurence. 

I have also learned that if I really WANT to make this happen, then I can.  I can make the time to fit daily exercise into my regimen. I only hope that I will do it.  It take up ALOT of time out of my day, so I need to figure out a game plan.  I will not be able to go to yoga everyday; I will need to figure out an exercise plan that I can do from home, like running and using an exercise video or going to my little free gym.  All of these things do not require a car. 

Onwards.

Yoga Sesh 15 (behind one day, catching up)

I am halfway through my yoga challenege, and it is indeed a challenge.  Recently, and most likely due to the fact that this week consisted soley of opening shifts (clocking in at 4:30am, anyone?) this week has been tough.  Yesterday I did a double, since I missed my max allowance of two days, and then you have to make them up.  I did a vinyasa class at 6 (which I felt nauseous halfway through and just gave up and plopped on my mat), and then a yin class at 7:30.  Then afterwards I raced home, and went straight to bed.  Not kidding.  I wore my pj’s to my yin class, and all I did when I got home was devour a power bar, and brush my teeth.  Out like a light.  Up at 3:30am today, and it was rough.  Not gonna lie. 

Oh and did I mention that I somehow screwed up the ligaments in my left shoulder?  Which SUCKS?  Oh happy days. 

Tomorrow I have off from work.  I am going to sleep in, and when I wake up I am going to make coffee, nurse my mug of joe until I forget the mug is empty and swear at it when I go to take another sip but aw hell I will just make ANOTHER cup.  Yea.  Tomorrow is looking good.  Yoga sesh at 4:30 and some delish dinner and healthy food shopping and then BOOM sleepy sleeps because I have to be at work by 6am Sunday, WOOOO.

The Computer Museum (largest in the world) was fascinating. We spent a good 3 hours there.
